At Mendi, we keep your data safe adopting the best practices and highest standards in terms of security. All data handling is GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) compliant.
When it comes to personally identifiable information (PII), all of it is anonymized and we do not share it with any third parties. The data we collect is solely used to improve your (personal) Mendi experience. You may even opt-out of all data collection, the downside then is that you won’t get as much personalized guidance from the system. Mendi is compliant with all data protection regulations both in the US and Europe.
Aggregated and anonymous data
Aggregated data could be derived from your personal data but is not considered personal data in law as this data will not directly or indirectly reveal your identity. For example, we may aggregate your usage data to calculate the percentage of users accessing a specific website feature.
However, if we combine or connect Aggregated Data with your personal data so that it can directly or indirectly identify you, we treat the combined data as personal data which will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
