Don't worry, you're doing nothing wrong!

The actual number of the score is not as important as the change in your score over time. If you keep getting the same score, try something different - e.g. focus on a different thing/object/sensation, experiment with physical mindfulness - and see what happens. Mendi is specific to each individual, and so you can play with it until you find your own rhythm.
