We are excited to announce a major improvement to the way we measure and report on your brain training progress in the Mendi app.
After conducting a number of surveys and user interviews (a massive thank you to everyone who participated!), it became clear that many of you found the existing Neural Activity, Resilience and Control scores difficult to interpret.
This score system also fails to capture an important part of overall brain health: sticking to the habit of training.
To make it easier for you to understand where you are in your journey toward a healthier brain and an improved ability to focus, we have created the Mendi Score. This new daily score, on a scale from 0-100 is a combination of:
- PERFORMANCE
Your brain training scores (Neural activity, Resilience and Control) compared with your individual baseline.
- COMMITMENT
Your session lengths and number of Training Days, both short and long term.
In short, the new Mendi Score is a representation of how well you activate your prefrontal cortex when you train, compared with your own historical data; how dilingently you stick to the habit of training; and how long your training sessions are.
We'd love to hear your thoughts about the new score so please shoot us an email at help@mendi.io or post in the Mendi Official User Group on Facebook.
