Start with the basics:
Make sure Bluetooth is turned on.
Keep your headset close to your phone (within 1 meter).
Charge your Mendi with the provided USB A-to-C cable for at least 1 hour, then try again.
iOS
If your Mendi won’t reconnect or fails to pair:
Reinstall the Mendi app.
Restart your phone immediately after reinstalling.
Open the app and log back into your account.
-
When prompted, grant Mendi:
Bluetooth permissions & Permission to find other devices
Please make sure to accept both requests when they appear.
Android
Ensure your Mendi has been charged for at least 1 hour using a USB-A to USB-C cable (not C-to-C).
Delete the Mendi app and its cache, then download it again from the Google Play Store.
Launch the app and log in.
-
Ensure location settings are active and grant Bluetooth permissions and access to Location services (required by Google; Mendi does not use your location).
Press the power button on your headband. As long as Bluetooth is on, the device should connect automatically.
