Your Mendi should feel secure but comfortable.
If it feels too tight, loose, or uncomfortable, a few small adjustments can help improve both your comfort and signal accuracy.
Check the Fit
Place your Mendi so the black sensors rest flat just above your eyebrows.
Make sure the band sits snugly against your forehead, but not tight enough to leave deep marks or cause pressure.
Adjust the strap evenly on both sides so it sits horizontally across your forehead.
Keep hair clear from the sensors and make sure your skin is clean and dry.
Good contact equals good feedback; the sensors need clear, even skin contact to measure your brain activity accurately.
If It Feels Too Tight
Loosen the strap slightly; even a few millimeters can make a big difference.
Try adjusting your posture so your headband rests comfortably without sliding.
If It Feels Too Loose
Tighten the strap until the sensors stay in full contact with your skin, even when you move your head gently.
Check for small gaps between the sensors and your forehead; this can weaken the signal.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Wipe the inside of your headband and sensors gently with a dry or lightly damp cloth after each session.
Make sure it’s fully dry before your next use.
Avoid alcohol wipes or harsh cleaning agents, as they can damage the material.
Bonus Tip
The strap is detachable and can be cleaned using warm water in the sink. Be sure to let it fully dry before reattaching.
A comfortable fit helps you focus better and gives your Mendi the best possible signal.
